Sila Slona prefer the nomenclature "contemporary punk" when speaking of their music. As misleading as the term might seem in relation to your dad's protest anthems, it precisely coins the band's creative stance: why should punk be anything you expected in the 21st century if the style was conceived to never give any credit to any tradition anyway?
Questions don't lead to answers on the quartet's debut EP full of rhetorical lyrics over illogical music labyrinths.
"What we created are music stories rather than songs, you won't hear verses and choruses in our songs, main themes and middle 8th, you'll have to hear each piece from start to end to see it for what it is”.
